Environmental Performance

TORRE DE NÚÑEZ has strengthened its commitment to the environment by implementing the ISO 14001:2015 standard, through which it has analyzed the environmental impact of its activity based on the Life Cycle of its products.
As part of this commitment, TORRE DE NÚÑEZ wishes to involve all stakeholders so they are aware of the work being carried out internally.

Our environmental aspects have been determined by evaluating their impact on the environment due to toxicity or consumption during the course of the company’s activities.
We maintain operational control over all of them and follow best environmental practice guidelines, in accordance with our established procedures, in order to minimize their associated environmental impacts.

In 2023, we reduced electricity and gas consumption at both production centers: at the O Corgo center, a 15% reduction in electricity and a 2% reduction in gas was achieved, while at the Conturiz center, a 2% reduction in electricity and a 9% reduction in gas was achieved. Furthermore, paper consumption has been reduced by 14% and fuel consumption by 18%.

Additionally, TORRE DE NÚÑEZ, in fulfillment of our commitment to continuous improvement and the environment, has established objectives to ACHIEVE ZERO WASTE CERTIFICATION as well as to REDUCE THE CONSUMPTION OF CHEMICAL PRODUCTS.
