Torre de Núñez facilities: technology, capacity and quality control

At Torre de Núñez, we have modern facilities in Galicia designed to ensure the highest quality, food safety and production efficiency in the making of our hams and cured meats.
Our plants combine state-of-the-art technology with respect for traditional curing and production processes, ensuring that every product reaches the consumer in optimal condition.

Conturiz

Our Conturiz plant was inaugurated in 2000 and has 15,000 m² dedicated to the production of cured meats and packaging.

From these facilities, a large part of our meat products are produced and prepared, with a production capacity of up to 5,000 tonnes per year, allowing us to serve both the domestic and international markets without compromising on quality.

O Corgo drying facility

The O Corgo drying facility, inaugurated in 2012 and expanded in 2019, has 14,000 m² dedicated to salting, post-salting, curing and packaging ham.

This plant includes a natural curing cellar, designed to respect the time and conditions required for a high-quality serrano ham.

Its production capacity reaches 600,000 units per year, making O Corgo one of the benchmark centres for ham production in north-west Spain.

Slicing plant (O Corgo)

In 2016, we inaugurated our slicing plant in O Corgo, with an area of 2,500 m², dedicated exclusively to slicing and packaging our products.

This facility allows us to offer ham, loin, chorizo and other cured meats in ready-to-eat formats, keeping their flavour, texture and freshness properties intact.

The production capacity of this plant reaches between 7 and 8 million units per year, enabling us to respond to market demand quickly and accurately.

Infrastructure in the service of quality

Thanks to our facilities, Torre de Núñez can control the entire production process, from the receipt of raw
materials to final packaging. This allows us to guarantee: food safety, traceability and product consistency, while maintaining the highest level of quality.
